Who we are
Pricing Logic Limited is the controller of your personal data for CarParkLetter.

What we collect
- Name, postal address, email.
- Vehicle registration, PCN reference, operator, site, dates and times.
- Payment confirmation (we do not store full card details; payments are handled by Stripe).
- Technical data: IP address, device and usage data in our server logs. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
- The date and time you confirmed that you want your letters straight away and lose your 14-day right to cancel. We keep it with your payment record in Stripe as evidence of that consent.
Why and lawful basis (UK GDPR Article 6)
- To create your letters and send them to you: contract.
- To send deadline reminders you ask for: contract, or consent where required.
- To take payment and keep tax and accounting records: legal obligation.
- To keep the service secure and improve it: legitimate interests.
- To keep a record of when you confirmed you want your letters straight away, as evidence if there is a dispute about your right to cancel: legitimate interests.
- Marketing email: only with your consent. You can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
Processors acting for us: Stripe (payments and order records), Resend (reminder and confirmation emails) and Hetzner Online (server hosting). We do not sell your data. We do not send your data to parking operators; you send your letter yourself.
International transfers
Hetzner hosts our server in Falkenstein, Germany, in the European Economic Area. Stripe and Resend may process data in the United States. Stripe: its privacy centre (https://stripe.com/privacy-center/legal) says Stripe 'has certified its participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework', including 'the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF', and that the UK International Data Transfer Addendum 'is incorporated into our agreements'. Stripe's data processing agreement: https://stripe.com/gb/legal/dpa. Resend: its Data Processing Addendum (https://resend.com/legal/dpa) says its 'primary processing operations take place in the United States', that 'ex-UK Transfers are made pursuant to the UK SCCs' as 'amended and completed in accordance with the UK Addendum', and that it 'complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF'.
Storage on your device
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. While you answer the questions, we save your answers in your browser's session storage so you can go back a step. When you go to pay, we also save a copy in your browser's local storage so you can download your PDF again after payment. Both copies stay on your device and are not sent to our servers except when the PDF is made. They remain until you remove them: use the button on the order confirmation page ("Remove my answers from this browser") or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Your letter answers stay in your browser and are not stored on our servers. If you ask for reminders, your email address is deleted after the final reminder. Order and tax records: 6 years.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and object to processing. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it. Contact hello@carparkletter.co.uk (or use our contact form at /contact). We will reply within one month.
Complaints
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, helpline 0303 123 1113.
Automated decisions
Our tool applies set rules to your answers to suggest grounds. It does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; you choose what to send.
